At least for multi-day stays, Renaud recommends one of these two Bed & Breakfasts (not sure which one; they are located very close to each other):

Perfect location (right between the center and MMMI), the rooms are nice and comfortable, it's relatively cheap, the owner is very friendly and helpful, and a bike is usually included in the room price. It takes 3 to 5 min to bike to MMMI or the city center.
